FIND11 gained 14.01%, BNKS11 rose 12.72%, and BDOM11 advanced 10.37% on Monday, October 5, while portfolios with greater exposure to exporters posted more modest results.

Appreciation of the Real and falling interest rate futures accompanied the revision of domestic risk premiums. This movement favored businesses linked to credit, consumer spending, and investments in Brazil. Conversely, the drop in the US dollar exchange rate pressured companies receiving a significant portion of their revenues in foreign currency.

BEST11 advanced 9.24%, combining banks and essential services. UTLL11 gained 8.32%, driven by energy and sanitation. Meanwhile, CMDB11 rose 1.76%, BXPO11 advanced 0.76%, and MATB11 declined 0.74%. DOLB11 lost 4.12%, tracking the direction of the foreign exchange rate.

ETF

Manager

Daily Return

FIND11

Itaú Asset

+14.01%

BNKS11

Investo

+12.72%

BDOM11

Investo

+10.37%

BEST11

Investo

+9.24%

UTLL11

Investo

+8.32%

BCIC11

Bradesco Asset

+8.16%

BOVA11

BlackRock

+7.55%

BDEF11

Bradesco Asset

+7.32%

CMDB11

BTG Asset

+1.76%

BXPO11

Investo

+0.76%

MATB11

Itaú Asset

−0.74%

DOLB11

BTG Asset

−4.12%

FIND11 (Itaú Asset): +14.01%

Highlights for FIND11 included B3, up 22.63%, and BTG Pactual, with a 22.52% gain. The financial portfolio brings together institutions whose revenues respond to different drivers: credit, asset trading, wealth management, insurance, and capital markets operations.

Shifting interest rate and risk expectations particularly favored businesses tied to investment and financial intermediation. Bradesco preferred shares advanced 13.57%, Banco do Brasil gained 11.00%, and Itaú preferred shares rose 10.37%, broadening portfolio support. The movement was less intense among insurers: BB Seguridade gained 1.33% and Caixa Seguridade, 1.03%.

BNKS11 (Investo): +12.72%

Concentration in banks made BNKS11 one of the main beneficiaries of the session. BTG and Banco do Brasil accounted for 41.89% of the reference portfolio, while Itaú preferred and Bradesco preferred added another 34.18%. The appreciation of these four names thus reached a substantial portion of the portfolio.

BTG captured improving outlooks for investments and capital markets. Credit banks reacted to expectations of less restrictive financial conditions, which could favor loan origination and client repayment capacity. The 10.38% exposure to Santander, which advanced 2.63%, added a more moderate performance.

Want to follow discussions on indices, strategies, and the ETF market? Financial services represented 40.09% of the portfolio prior to the session, with Itaú at 8.19%, Bradesco at 5.69%, BTG at 5.24%, and Banco do Brasil at 4.58%. Gains in these names created a significant engine for the 10.37% advance.

The portfolio also received a boost from Petrobras preferred shares (+8.19%), Axia Energia (+7.87%), and Sabesp (+11.58%). Utilities accounted for 16.10% and energy for 11.53% of the composition. The combination of banks and infrastructure explains why the domestic exposure strategy outperformed the broad index: it gathers distinct businesses benefiting from lower risk premiums and revised financing conditions in Brazil.

BEST11 (Investo): +9.24%

BEST11 concentrates in banks, electric utilities, sanitation, insurance, and telecommunications. Banks represented 35.62% and electric utilities 38.16% of the portfolio, placing nearly three-quarters of exposure in these two groups. Top positions included BTG, Bradesco, Equatorial, Itaú, Banco do Brasil, and Sabesp, with weights near 8% per company.

BTG’s 22.52% gain was matched by 13.72% for Equatorial and 11.58% for Sabesp. Among traditional banks, Bradesco preferred, Banco do Brasil, and Itaú preferred also posted double-digit gains. Insurance and telecom showed more moderate reactions, with BB Seguridade at +1.33% and Telefônica Brasil at +5.61%. Fund appreciation stemmed from combining financial momentum with essential service repricing, bringing year-to-date returns to 21.34%.

UTLL11 (Investo): +8.32%

UTLL11 focuses on public utility companies, with Sabesp holding 20.36% and Axia Energia 19.53% prior to the session. Gains of 11.58% and 7.87% in these two names impacted nearly 40% of the portfolio.

Equatorial advanced 13.72% and Energisa gained 13.96%, reinforcing the move. Meanwhile, Eneva rose 5.40% and Copel gained 3.85%. Declining expected interest rates favor long-term cash flow valuations—a key feature in infrastructure businesses. It also lowers investment financing costs.

BCIC11 (Bradesco Asset): +8.16%

BCIC11 gathers cyclical sectors sensitive to economic activity, with equalized company weights upon rebalancing. In the September composition, Magazine Luiza held 2.20%, Localiza 1.89%, BTG 1.85%, Cyrela 1.82%, and B3 1.81%. These positions recorded gains of 24.18%, 20.68%, 22.52%, 18.40%, and 22.63%, respectively.

Driver diversity was key. Retail responded to expected credit improvements; car rental and homebuilding reacted to capital costs; financial services tracked improving investment sentiment. Rumo, weighted at 1.92%, advanced 12.09%, adding logistics infrastructure exposure.

The equal-weighted structure allowed gains in smaller firms to contribute to overall performance without relying solely on mega-caps.

BOVA11 (BlackRock): +7.55%

BOVA11 tracks the Ibovespa and gathers companies with varying domestic exposure profiles. Itaú preferred rose 10.37%, Petrobras preferred advanced 8.19%, and Petrobras common gained 6.68%, while B3 and BTG posted gains above 22%. Sabesp and Bradesco preferred also contributed double-digit gains.

The primary drag came from exporters. Vale dropped 0.97%, Embraer lost 3.31%, and Suzano fell 5.39%. The miner remains a major index constituent, making its decline significant relative to financial and domestic portfolios.

Banks, Petrobras, and public utilities sustained the rally, while select export-focused firms reduced momentum.

BDEF11 (Bradesco Asset): +7.32%

BDEF11 combines utilities, healthcare, and consumer staples. In the September portfolio, Assaí held 4.54%, Auren 4.09%, Equatorial 3.91%, Sabesp 3.90%, Rede D’Or 3.89%, and Energisa 3.88%. Gains in these names created broad-based support across sectors.

Assaí rose 16.41%, Auren gained 12.45%, Equatorial advanced 13.72%, and Energisa added 13.96%. In healthcare, Rede D’Or appreciated 9.82%, Hypera gained 7.11%, and Fleury rose 3.32%. Recurring-demand businesses also respond to interest rates and risk premiums: capital costs influence investments, expansion, and future cash flow valuations.

CMDB11 (BTG Asset): +1.76%

CMDB11 gathers commodity producers and faced opposing forces during the session. In the October rebalance, Petrobras preferred and common shares totaled 20% of the benchmark, while Vale represented 20%, PRIO 15.45%, Gerdau preferred 10.40%, and Suzano 8.77%.

Gains of 8.19% in Petrobras preferred and 6.68% in Petrobras common supported a key portion of performance. PRIO gained 1.81%, offering a modest positive contribution. Conversely, Vale, Gerdau, and Suzano pulled back. BRL appreciation pressured export revenue outlooks, while international crude oil also declined. Exposure to Petrobras allowed the fund to close higher, but mining, steel, and pulp weakness capped gains at 1.76%.

BXPO11 (Investo): +0.76%

BXPO11 concentrates in Brazilian companies with substantial foreign revenue exposure. Prior to the session, Embraer held 8.61%, WEG 8.31%, Gerdau 8.02%, Suzano 7.84%, and Vale 7.61%. Drops of 3.31% in Embraer and 5.39% in Suzano hit two major holdings, accompanied by declines in Gerdau and Vale.

A stronger Real reduces the BRL value of USD-denominated revenues, though the impact on individual companies also depends on costs, debt, and currency hedges. Offsets occurred: PRIO advanced 1.81% and Minerva gained 7.99%, with weights of 8.41% and 4.33%. The net positive return of 0.76% shows a portfolio with internal divergence, contrasting with uniform gains in domestic names. Over one month, the ETF still accumulated a 3.06% loss.

MATB11 (Itaú Asset): -0.74%

MATB11 tracks basic materials, with exposure to mining, steel, and pulp. Suzano dropped 5.39%, Gerdau preferred lost 1.19%, Vale slipped 0.97%, and Klabin fell 0.86%. Concentration in these segments placed the fund in a different position from banks and domestic retail.

Real appreciation was a significant vector for USD-earning companies. The effect was especially visible in pulp via Suzano’s drop. Gains occurred in other constituents, such as CSN (+4.21%) and CSN Mineração (+1.41%), but failed to offset combined losses among heavier holdings. The ETF closed down on the day and accumulated a 5.35% drop over one month.

DOLB11 (BTG Asset): -4.12%

DOLB11 provides US dollar exposure via a currency futures strategy. Its 4.12% decline tracked BRL appreciation in the first trading session after election results.

Revising Brazilian risk premiums favored the local currency alongside expected demand for domestic assets. Spot USD closed near R$ 5, after ending Friday above R$ 5.21.

This content is for informational and educational purposes only and does not constitute an investment recommendation.

[93
81,38,40
post-2384","noticias","type-noticias","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-brazil","tag_noticias-analysis","tag_noticias-investo","tag_noticias-itau-asset

FIND11 and BNKS11 Lead Brazilian ETFs; Dollar Drop Limits Exporters and Pressures MATB11 - DEX | Portal de ETFs

<meta name="description" content="FIND11 e BNKS11 lideraram as altas em 5 de outubro.
