Global X in Brazil
Global X began operating in Brazil in 2022 and has a team based in São Paulo. Its local lineup includes 38 ETF depositary receipts traded on B3, covering strategies tied to technology, international markets, commodities and income.
An ETF depositary receipt is a security traded on the Brazilian exchange that provides access to an ETF listed abroad. It can be bought and sold in Brazilian reais, while its performance remains exposed to the underlying holdings and, depending on the strategy, exchange-rate movements.
Products added to B3 in 2026
This year’s launches broadened the firm’s Brazilian lineup. COLO39 provides exposure to Colombian equities. SHLD39 tracks defense technology companies, while GOEX39 holds businesses involved in gold exploration. The three products share the ETF depositary receipt structure but respond to different market drivers.
In technology and natural resources, CHPX39 covers the semiconductor supply chain for artificial intelligence and quantum computing. EART39 focuses on rare earths and critical materials. ORBX39 tracks the space economy, including launch systems, satellites and data services. Together, the launches extend the firm’s thematic lineup across different industries and stages of their supply chains.
