Nasdaq will sponsor INDEX 2026, DEX’s annual gathering taking place on November 12 in São Paulo. Its benchmark indices tracked $1.114 trillion in exchange-traded products at the end of June, maintaining a strong presence across Brazilian ETFs. The partnership brings to the event a company whose scope spans exchanges, technology infrastructure, data, risk management, and benchmark indices used by a global investment product industry.
The sponsorship comes during a period of expanding global reach: as of June 2026, exchange-traded products tied to Nasdaq indices totaled $1.114 trillion in assets under management. This total grew 49.5% year-over-year, tracking expanded product offerings and net inflows into strategies across various asset managers.
In Brazil, this connection is already embedded in investor portfolios. XP Asset’s NASD11 offers exposure to the Nasdaq-100. Buena Vista Capital’s QQQQ11 tracks a higher-beta selection sensitive to benchmark swings. In the crypto asset industry, Hashdex’s HASH11 and BITH11 also utilize Nasdaq benchmarks. This diversity demonstrates a footprint spanning multiple asset classes and investment vehicles.
$369 Billion Added to Products Tied to Nasdaq Indices
Assets in ETPs linked to company indices grew from $745 billion in June 2025 to $1.114 trillion in June 2026, representing a $369 billion gain. The number of licensed products increased from 422 to 481, adding 59 vehicles, or 14%. The ETP category encompasses exchange-traded products, including ETFs.
| Metric | June 2025 | June 2026 |
| Assets in ETPs tied to Nasdaq indices | $745 billion | $1.114 trillion |
| Number of licensed ETPs | 422 | 481 |
| 12-month net inflows | $88 billion | $109 billion |
Net inflows reached a record $51 billion in the second quarter of 2026, following approximately $6 billion in the first quarter. The acceleration demonstrates net new capital entering these products alongside asset appreciation effects on AUM. Over a 12-month period, net inflows expanded by 23.9%.
This reach is also evident in listings: the Nasdaq exchange hosted 1,243 ETPs at the end of June, up 36% from 914 a year earlier. This universe includes products from various index providers, broadening its footprint as trading infrastructure for the broader industry.
Connecting Trading, Technology, and Market Data
Best known for its US exchange listing major global corporations, Nasdaq also operates European markets and supplies technology to institutions and market operators. Its structure combines three core segments: Market Services, Capital Access Platforms, and Financial Technology.
This scope encompasses trading systems and capital markets infrastructure, investor analytics and data, public company services, and market surveillance and compliance tools. Solutions such as Calypso, AxiomSL, and Verafin serve activities ranging from trade lifecycle and risk management to regulatory reporting and financial crime detection. In the second quarter of 2026, Nasdaq reported net revenue of $1.5 billion, with $539 million generated by its Financial Technology division.
For the ETF market, this integrated approach matters because product expansion relies on multiple interconnected stages: investment benchmarks, market data, trading execution, liquidity, and oversight. Nasdaq operates within this ecosystem as an exchange operator, technology provider, and index developer utilized by asset managers worldwide.

The Nasdaq-100 and Building a Global ETF Market
The Nasdaq-100 gathers 100 of the largest non-financial companies listed on Nasdaq. Represented sectors include hardware, software, telecommunications, retail, and biotechnology. While its relevance to tech is significant, its composition extends across broader economic activities.
Based on 2025 averages, ETFs benchmarked to the Nasdaq-100 gathered approximately $587 billion in assets. Invesco QQQ and QQQM combined accounted for nearly 70% of that total. This scale connects the underlying portfolio of companies to a global fund market used by investors with diverse goals and time horizons.
In 2026, US product availability expanded with BlackRock’s iShares Nasdaq 100 ETF (IQQ) and State Street’s SPDR Portfolio Nasdaq 100 ETF (QNDX). European vehicles include the iShares Nasdaq-100 UCITS ETF, while Australian offerings feature the Betashares Nasdaq-100 ETF.
Nasdaq Indices Footprint on B3
XP Asset’s NASD11 connects Brazilian investors to the Nasdaq-100 via the Invesco QQQ ETF. The structure enables trading on B3 an international portfolio gathering large-cap companies and businesses driving technological transformation, consumer spending, and innovation.
Buena Vista Capital’s QQQQ11 tracks the Nasdaq-100 High Beta Index, which selects the quartile of stocks exhibiting the highest beta relative to the Nasdaq-100. The methodology refines exposure by concentrating on companies with higher sensitivity to benchmark moves.
In digital assets, Hashdex’s HASH11 tracks the Nasdaq CME Crypto Index, a diversified basket of crypto assets. Hashdex’s BITH11 utilizes the Nasdaq Bitcoin Reference Price for targeted Bitcoin exposure.
Nasdaq at INDEX 2026
Nasdaq’s participation as Sapphire Sponsor brings INDEX 2026 closer to a firm embedded across multiple stages of the global financial system and trading infrastructure supporting products worldwide.
For DEX’s annual event, this presence reinforces the connection between Brazil’s ETF industry and global developments in indices, technology, and investment solutions. It is within this collaborative environment that asset managers, index providers, distributors, and market professionals gather to discuss industry evolution.
